The story
The word "TORC" is derived from the Old Irish word "TORC" which means "RING" or "NECK RING" In ancient times, torcs were a type of necklace or collar worn by the Celts and were often made of gold or other precious metals. Torcs were considered a symbol of power and wealth and were worn by both men and women.
In modern times, the word "TORC" is often used to describe a specific type of ancient Celtic jewelry, but it can also be used more generally to refer to any type of necklace or collar. We are using the word "torc" to evoke a sense of ancient elegance and luxury.
